Through Google Reader, I find two blog posts (1, 2) confirming something I’ve been saying for quite some time… research information posted to Wikipedia is really important to generating impact. Why? Well, by the pure fact that Wikipedia has such a high placement in Google search results, and Google is one of the largest drivers of traffic to websites.

Now all I need is some indication that research published on Wikipedia is more likely to end up in briefs prepared for ministers or other policy-makers…
